Maggie Warmolts a professional musician and Symphony member. She plays with many different chamber groups as well. She has played with various groups in the San Francisco area including off Broadway and different Opera’s. As a Symphony member she has played almost every Free family concert even for the Camellia Symphony. She has played at Memorial Auditorium in many different combo’s including world music. In the studio she has performed 20th Cent. Music and Jazz. She has studied with Laslo varga , Susan Lamb cook and Lena Andaya a teacher that she worked with from the conservatory in San Francisco. She studied chamber music at Cal Arts in Valencia under the direction of Allen Vogal a world famous Oboist in the L.A. philharmic.



Jeff Alkire has toured the world performing as a saxophonist with the likes of Ray Charles, Charlie Haden, Tony Bennett, Joe Farrell, Art Lande, Chuck Isreals, Eddie Marshall, Joe La Barbara, and Johnny Lee Hooker.  He is adept at playing straight ahead, bebop, big band, latin and free jazz as well as the blues.  He studied at Berklee College of Music and California Institute of the Arts where he earned both a B.F.A. and  M.F.A. degree in Jazz/African American Music Performance. 

One Summer in Winters and Some Birds like to Fly consists of melodic straight ahead jazz derived from the almost magical intercommunication of combo members.  The complex compositions delight the sophisticated jazz listener while the deceivingly simple melodies appeal to the unschooled ear.
